The Occupational Health Help and Advice Line provides schools with access to a team of Doctors, Occupational Health Nurses, and Health & Safety Advisors.

This service provides unlimited telephone access to qualified and experienced Occupational Health Advisors who will be able to offer expert advice and support on a wide range of health related matters pertaining to staff.

Calls to the Occupational Health Help and Advice Line typically include:

  • Health related absence;
  • Stress management;
  • Return to work;
  • Disability Discrimination Act;
  • Maternity;
  • Capability.

Designed to assist with the recruitment process, the online Medical Questionnaire is an easy to use screening tool with a same day response..

The web-based questionnaire is accessible to prospective employees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via a secure web based portal, facilitating a fast outcome.

The questionnaire takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, depending on the level of information the candidate provides.

Management Referral to Occupational Health Unit – National Coverage (Pay as you use)

Providing schools with a diagnosis and prognosis of an employee's medical and emotional wellbeing, in a structured, consistent and timely fashion.

The reasons for requiring an independent medical assessment can include

  • Absence due to long-term sickness and a return to work date is unknown;
  • Returning to work after long-term absence;
  • Repeated absences for short periods;
  • Underperforming at work and an underlying medical condition may be suspected;
  • Recovering from an injury/accident;
  • Suspected substance abuse.
