The Occupational Health Help and Advice Line provides schools with access to a team of Doctors, Occupational Health Nurses, and Health & Safety Advisors.
This service provides unlimited telephone access to qualified and experienced Occupational Health Advisors who will be able to offer expert advice and support on a wide range of health related matters pertaining to staff.
Calls to the Occupational Health Help and Advice Line typically include:
- Health related absence;
- Stress management;
- Return to work;
- Disability Discrimination Act;
- Maternity;
- Capability.

Providing schools with a diagnosis and prognosis of an employee's medical and emotional wellbeing, in a structured, consistent and timely fashion.
The reasons for requiring an independent medical assessment can include
- Absence due to long-term sickness and a return to work date is unknown;
- Returning to work after long-term absence;
- Repeated absences for short periods;
- Underperforming at work and an underlying medical condition may be suspected;
- Recovering from an injury/accident;
- Suspected substance abuse.
